Primary Job Duties
- Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Lead and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Enforce operational policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate branch service statistics
- Program planning with the Director of Compliance and the Branch Staff building and achieving goals that are determined by the Executive Team
- Follow company policies and procedures, and encourage a positive and respectful work environment
- Strong understanding of business management and leadership principles, including time and project management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Coaching and conflict resolution skills to keep the work environment focused on the goal of running a successful program
- Ensure operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed
- Follow inventory control systems to ensure accurate record-keeping
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on operations performance
- Plan for and manage the procurement of necessary equipment and supplies
- Implement cost-saving measures and improve operational efficiency
- Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies as needed to stay within budget
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in warehouse technology
- Train staff on the use of new technologies and systems
- Develop long-term strategies for operations to support business growth
- Recognize needs for future capacity and scalability
- Collaborate with other departments, such as development and accounting, to align operations with overall business goals
