The Area Sales Representative is responsible to achieve or overachieve the target business results an increase Chopard’s brand visibility in the assigned region, acting as a key leader in engaging our clients and internal departments to assure a winning strategy and flawless execution.
The Area Sales Representative maintains direct relationship with the allocated region accounts, with training visits and events support. He answers product and service questions from customers; suggests information about other product and services. Processes orders when needed, prepares correspondences, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction while providing administrative support to the Sales team.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Works closely with the Sales Director and Area Sales Manager(s) to achieve Chopard’s market goals including but not limited to monthly and annual budgets, brand positioning and sell-out goals, while maintaining adherence to budget and brand standards.
Elaborate action plan for each account and review on a quarterly basis with Managing Director.
Review monthly results to monitor success or needed changes to be responsive to the market.
Action plan to focus on strategic initiatives, full marketing plan, media plan, product- and order plan, POS development, staff training.
Daily interaction with our partners and with instore brand Ambassadors (when applicable).
Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
Responsive answers/support of client’s emails, texts, and voice messages.
- Coordinate relationships and operational success between all relevant department at Chopard to fulfill the requests of our clients and support them in the best possible way.
- Train the accounts sales staff on Chopard collections, marketing initiatives and decoration.
Provides product and pricing information by clarifying customer requests.

Advise on company information.
Assist with placement of orders, credit notes or exchanges
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
Update and maintain sales as well as Salesforce and Choptrack updating.
Assist Sales team in local events
Work with retailers, Sales Managers and Marketing Team on COOP Marketing plans
Sales:
- Establish a travel plan for the year in collaboration with Sales Team
- Frequent visits to the region to meet with selected clients, visit point of sales and interact with the boutique and multi brand sales staff.
- In coordination with Sales & Marketing teams, analyze retailer’s stock and create incentives to drive sales & upkeep of results
- Organize and obtain information pertinent to the market, including competition, economic and political situations, product & POS developments
- Utilize the internal CRM tool (Sales Force) to manage the clients, monitor all the market activities and prepare order proposals.
- Be ready to fulfill specific missions, in relation to sales activities, which can be outside the regular territory.
Marketing & Events:
- Support with Sales & Marketing teams to help conceptualize event ideas and implement when needed
- Plan and organize local activities and seminars (training)
- In coordination with Sales, Marketing and VM teams, work on 360 campaigns & activations for product launches, holidays, etc.
- Visual/brand image opportunities
- Promotional materials
- In-store activities/events
- Ensure product assortment
- Material needed for promotion (emails, newsletters, catalogs, etc.)
- Work with digital team to ensure social media assets
- Final recap of activity/launch
- Attend special events organized or sponsored by Chopard
- Eventual support of factory visits and other special exhibitions which can be outside the territory in charge.
Budgets, Reports & Presentations:
- Monitor sell-out trends
- Compiling and gathering of information from Sales & Marketing teams for various reports and presentations for Managing Director/Headquarters
Direct responsibility over A/R.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
Bilingual English/Spanish
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the international sales, retail and/or marketing fields
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Luxury industry
Technical skills / abilities:
- Advance Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Familiar with Oracle, Sales Force systems a plus
