Location: CHOR YFS | 1010 Centre Ave. | Reading, PA 19601
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
The Children's Home of Reading Youth & Family Services (CHOR YFS) is seeking full-time Kitchen Staff.
Position Summary: As a member of our kitchen staff, your responsibilities will include performing general tasks such as serving meals, prep of meals, cleaning, putting away stock, and cooking the meals.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Cooking/food prep experience in restaurant, hospital, or school setting.
- Must be willing to work Flexible Hours and Available as scheduled and in Multiple Locations. Must have reliable transportation.
- Must demonstrate basic communication skills- verbal, reading and written.
- Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
Additional Requirements: The candidate must pass required Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance. The candidate must pass a Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all required trainings.
- Drug screening does include testing for THC levels.
