Position Summary
The Health & Safety Field Representative will provide H&S support and technical services to the organization, with a strong emphasis on occupational safety. This position is based in Williston, ND and reports to the H&S Foreman. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience.
Essential Job Functions
• Facilitate incident investigations and reviews
• Use TapRooT analysis software to identify and address the conditions leading to incidents
• Work with Operations teams to develop corrective actions for RCA, regulatory, and audit findings
• Evaluate site hazards with Operations contractors and personnel, recommend corrective actions and follow through to completion
• Conduct routine face to face training with field personnel and contractors
• Maintain working knowledge of safe work permitting systems
• Manage concurrent projects and assignments
• Travel daily to regional offices/well sites
• Represent work group on cross-discipline project teams
• Provide sound input and recommendations to team and management
• Develop a variety of business documents and deliver presentations that illustrate command of language, clarity of thought, and orderliness of information
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years working knowledge and experience in E&P field operations
• 2 years of experience in a field-based midstream EHS support role
• Live within a 50-mile commuting radius of Williston, ND
• Ability to fit-test and wear a full-face respirator
• Strong working knowledge of EHS Management Systems, OSHA, and other applicable industry regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing company
• Ability to meet deadlines and the ability to produce results under tight time constraints
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Possess basic working knowledge of oil and gas exploration and production technologies
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, superiors, vendors, and regulators
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess the ability to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, copier, files, telephone, and fax; maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. On occasion this role will report to the field and be in the field near moving mechanical parts; and in the field, plant, drilling, and pipeline facilities in all outdoor weather conditions and must be able to handle exposure to extreme weather conditions and areas where hazardous chemicals are present. Must be able to climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit and walk extensively.
