Position Summary
The Midstream Foreman is responsible for the overall safe, effective and efficient installation, operation and maintenance of produced water facilities and pipeline systems. This position will be based out of Williston or Watford City offices and reports to the Midstream Operations Superintendent. Wage and level commensurate with experience.
Essential Job Functions
Oversee day to day facility and system operations to meet required production rates and monitor operating data to minimize problems and downtime
Plan, organize, and delegate daily work activities for Company and Contract Pipeline Technicians
Coach, train, and evaluate employees work performance; as well as enforcing company policies and ensure compliance to safety rules and regulations
Implements safe work practices and champions safety culture while ensuring safety for the employee, the public, and the environment at all times
Oversee new construction of pipelines, design plans for pipeline layouts and right of ways, as well as pipeline tie-ins
Oversee new construction of produced water facilities (SWDs, pump stations etc.), participate in design reviews and facility layout and planning discussions.
Evaluate existing systems and facilities and work with stakeholders to optimize and improve system reliability and efficiency.
Recommend changes in operations and consult with company leadership on implementing changes
Effectively communicates with various department leaders
Has a strong understanding of company policies, procedures, environmental regulations, permit requirements and other applicable regulations and standards
Responsible for accurate monthly accruals and coding/approving invoices
All other duties as assigned or based off business need

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
5 years midstream operations experience
Valid driver’s license
Strong communication skills
Must be at least 21 years old for Company motor vehicle insurance
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Able to handle exposure to extreme weather conditions and areas where hazardous chemicals are present
Position is subject to being on call 24 hours, 7 days per week
Ability to respond to emergency situations
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit and walk extensively
Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical, and to be able to meet all physical requirements of the job

Preferred Qualifications
5 years’ experience with midstream produced water systems
5 years’ experience in a supervisory role
