Position Summary
The SCADA Analyst will be responsible for implementing and supporting Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems including hardware and software platforms in order to provide maximum production and efficiency while promoting safe work practices. Will work as part of a team to support diverse SCADA systems across multiple assets. This position reports directly to the SCADA Manager and is located in downtown Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience.
Essential Job Functions
Implement and maintain HMI/SCADA applications according to department standards
Assist in creating and maintaining SOP documentation around areas of responsibility
Participate in system design planning and testing
Implements, maintains, and supports systems related to SCADA applications.
Researches problems and issues reported by users and determines best method for issue resolution.
Installs new releases for SCADA system software and maintains security of the SCADA system
Adhere to existing security standards and seek to improve cyber security stance through design and implementation
Provide Technical Support for SCADA communication including coordinating with Field IT team
Work with Control Center to test, implement and support site monitoring requirements
Work with Operations to support and troubleshoot HMI/SCADA/automation issues
Coordinate with Facilities and Production Operations groups regarding Field and Plant HMI/ SCADA requirements, projects and standards
Support data reporting for environmental regulatory information in compliance with standards
Support Field Data Gathering (FDG) / Procount system requirements from SCADA
Rotating On Call support for SCADA systems company wide
Follow Change Control and Work Tracking procedures
Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field
5 years of relevant work experience in a SCADA development environment
Proven experience with automation hardware and server-based software
ACM, Kepware, or similar polling engine experience
Oil and Gas Upstream Operations Knowledge
Must maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
Must be highly self-motivated and directed
Attend required meetings and training
Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
Strong customer-service orientation
Must be comfortable with both a typical office setting and field operation environment
Travel up to 10%
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 50 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone

Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Experience with Crystal Reports, Field Data Gathering, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio and Scripting Languages
Experience with MS SQL databases and MS server OS
GeoSCADA and Wonderware experience
