The Director of Data & Analytics will lead a team of employees who are responsible for supporting data integrations and analytic services. The Director will oversee and direct the activities to build out our data integration and analytics operations, as well as supporting daily production operations related to these services. You must be a self-starter, possess great leadership skills and have excellent communication abilities. Responsible for consistent reporting and providing metrics across all data and analytics projects. Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to set strategic data and analytics vision and execute against this vision. Partner closely with clinical product specialists, business analysts, and the product owners to understand requirements and break down the work in a meaningful way for our data integration and analytic teams. The consistent demonstration of approaching all assigned work in a positive, proactive, and collaborative manner is critical to this position. Maintaining expert level knowledge of Chordline products is required. Operating within Chordline mission, vision, and values is required.
Job Specific Responsibilities :
- Recruit, mentor, and grow high performing data and analytics teams.
- Define and manage project plans and deliverables for the data and analytics teams.
- Manage and extend the existing analytics platforms to consolidate the company’s data dashboards into a unified solution.
- Set strategic direction for our data analytics platforms, processes and standards.
- Research, assess and implement next-generation technologies to create the best of breed analytics solution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Create automated and robust tools to deploy data and analytics solutions to internal and external customers.
- Provide guidance to functional team members to achieve goals in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in developing long range technical infrastructure and architectural plans.
- Plan automated backups and disaster recovery / failover configurations for data and analytical operations.
- Manage staff; provide staff with coaching, training, and opportunities to develop skills, and give ongoing, constructive, and timely feedback on performance and progress toward goals and expectations.
