About the Role
The Chorus Platform design team is seeking a highly skilled and creative Lead Product Designer to spearhead the design and user experience efforts for some of our most strategic design initiatives for our platform product. As the Lead Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare technology by creating intuitive, user-friendly, and visually stunning products that address the unique challenges faced by healthcare professionals and patients alike. The ideal candidate should possess a genuine passion for (and experience with) creating refined user experiences for platform products with a special focus on data, integrations, and AI. Strong collaboration skills are essential, as well as the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations, adept problem-solving capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and adaptability in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities :
- Lead the end-to-end product design process, from concept ideation and user research to prototyping, user testing, and final UI / UX design.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and platform users to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure a seamless integration of design and technology.
- Leverage user personas, user journey maps, and wireframes to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to the team.
- Partner with user research to capture and understand user needs, pain points, and behavior patterns, and translate these insights into innovative design solutions.
- Create high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications that demonstrate a deep understanding of user interface and interaction design principles.
- Lead and participate in user testing sessions to gather feedback, iterate on designs, and validate product concepts.
- Establish and maintain design guidelines, standards, and best practices to ensure design consistency and quality across all product touchpoints.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture within the team.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design methodologies to continuously evolve and enhance the product design process.
