Grants Manager

Position Overview:
This is a crucial role that secures funding from various sources to support Chosen's mission and programs. This position will be responsible for managing the grant application process, cultivating relationships with donors and funding organizations, both private and governmental, ensuring timely compliance with all grant requirements, and supporting other necessary development operations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Write compelling, comprehensive grant documents: Letters of Inquiry (LOI), Requests for Application (RFA), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and grant reporting materials.
- Collaborate with Mission Advancement team to develop and implement plans for securing grants aligned with Chosen's organizational goals and mission.
- Identify funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other sources.
- Ensure that grant proposals are submitted on time and meet all requirements.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective donors and funding organizations.
- Serve as the point of contact for all grant-related inquiries and communications.
- Manage the grant application and reporting process, to include deadlines requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with grant requirements, including reporting, budgeting and documentation.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate grant reports to funders.
- Maintain organized records of grant related documents, correspondence, reports, and donor management platform.
- Support planning and execution of development events.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, advance degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in grant writing, grant management or fundraising for a nonprofit organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong ability to craft compelling grant proposals and reports.
- Experience working with nonprofit CRMs and ability to keep organized partner records for quality tracking of relationships with funders across the spectrum of development efforts.
- Knowledge of grantmaking processes and donor cultivation strategies.
