What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Account Manager position at Chosen Group?
The Chosen Group is currently seeking an individual to join our charity fundraising team as an Entry- Level Account Manager. We have a structured training program aimed at teaching someone about fundraising and client management from the ground up; therefore, we are not necessarily looking for someone who is an expert in the non-profit or fundraising sector. Here at The Chosen Group, we work with charities focused on giving back to the community. Through our management training program, we are looking to develop additional entry-level account managers to oversee new clients and events.
Entry-Level Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Become well-versed in what our charitable partners’ mission in order to effectively communicate to potential donors
- Attend fundraising events and be able to speak in front of both large and small groups
- Build relationships with members of the local community
- Accept donations from donors on behalf of our non-profit partners and ensure that each donation is notated properly
- Learn from experienced team members and demonstrate a student mentality
- Assist in setting up and breaking down fundraising events
- Attend daily team meetings with Entry-Level Account Manager team members where initiatives and goals are discussed
