Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Program Coordinator to oversee and manage our programs aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. Duties
- Supervise program staff and volunteers to ensure effective program delivery.
- Manage daily operations of programs, including scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with regulations.
- Develop and implement program plans that meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and families to enhance program effectiveness.
- Conduct regular assessments of program outcomes and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
- Prepare reports on program activities, budgets, and performance metrics for management review.
- Assist in budgeting processes to ensure financial sustainability of programs.
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices in working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising staff within a social work or related environment.
- Strong administrative skills with a focus on program management.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in behavioral health settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent relationship management skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and community partners.
- Knowledge of program development processes and best practices.
- Strong budgeting skills to manage financial aspects of programs effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- A degree in social work, human services, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
