JOB SUMMARY
The professor of Sports Management is responsible for teaching undergraduate sports studies and physical education. This is a tenure-track teaching position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and academic advising
- Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into the curriculum.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to enhance academic programs.
- This chair is responsible for developing, coordinating, and administering all of the academic programs and activities within the department.
- Primary responsibilities include curriculum and course development, course scheduling, retention and advisement, committee work, and overseeing departmental budget.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A terminal degree in sport management or a related field and a record of leadership are required.
- Experience teaching at the university level is preferred.
