- Oversees and directs the maintenance of all academic records for Chowan University students to include grades and transcripts.
- Organizes and directs class registrations, convocations and the recording, maintenance, and distribution of grades.
- Certifies VA applications for educational benefits. Oversees and directs certification and record keeping.
- Certifies NCAA eligibility. Performs the activities of the Campus Archivist.
- Supervises the employees working in the Registrars office to including hiring, promotion, salary adjustments, performance appraisal, discipline, and, if necessary, termination.
- Serves as a member of various committees.
- Responsible for institutional research.
