Overview
CHP is looking for licensed mental health clinicians who are passionate about and motivated to work with justice involved youth. LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, and Licensed Psychologists are all welcome to apply! We are seeking dedicated therapists to join our team to develop mental health curriculums, deliver best patient care, and assist in the growth of pre-licensed mental health clinicians via supervision as a licensed practitioner. The ideal candidate will have a desire to work with youth facing behavioral and mental health challenges within the two juvenile detention facilities in San Diego County.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Assist in developing additional mental health curriculums
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions with individual caseload of youth
- Collaborate with the clinical team as well as overarching multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including discharge planning for continuity of care
- Supervise 1-3 pre-licensed mental health clinicians via weekly supervision, consultation, and review of documentation
