To be successful in this role, you:
- Have a HS diploma or equivalent.
- Possess two years of customer service or administrative experience. Experience in human resources is highly preferred.
- Are comfortable working with a diverse population of people with a variety of circumstances.
- Have knowledge and experience with Microsoft Suites/Office Products.
- Are comfortable presenting and speaking to groups of people.
- Have experience working with HR information systems.
- Have familiarity with employment laws such as ADA, FMLA and WA PFML.
Essential functions and Roles and Responsibilities:
HR Customer Service and Administration
- Serves as a point of contact for employee inquiries directed to Human Resources, ensuring responses align with employee policies and procedures.
- Supports and facilitates CHPW’s weekly onboarding program, including leading onboarding sessions and coordinating the ordering of new hire kits through a third-party vendor.
- Acts as a backup for managing leave of absences, working under the guidance of the appropriate HR Business Partner (HRBP).
- Provide general administrative support preparing correspondence, forms, and reports.
- Responds promptly to requests for information and documentation related to internal and external audits.
- Prepares new-hire documentation for onboarding employees and termination documents for departing employees.
- Maintains the desk procedures guide to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Learning and Development
- Provides administrative support in the Learning Management System (LMS), including event setup, class registration, and management, and report generation.
- Distributes the 4-month onboarding survey to new hires.
- Coordinates 60-day onboarding check-ins between new hires and their assigned HR Business Partner, while ensuring hiring managers schedule their 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins.
- Assists with various Learning and Development projects as needed.
Sourcing and Recruiting
- Posts job openings in the Recruiting HRIS and on job boards as needed.
- Assist with general telephone screenings of candidates.
- Coordinates scheduling of interviews and maintains regular communication with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Assists with conducting required background checks and sanction screenings.
- Manages new hire documentation within the HRIS.
- Non-Exempt - Reporting to work on time and for all scheduled shifts is essential to this position.

Compensation and Benefits:
The position is FLSA Non-Exempt and is eligible for overtime. Based on market data, this position grade is 41 with an hourly salary range of $22.79 - $27.91 and has a 5% annual incentive target based on company, department, and individual performance goals.
