About the Role

The Social and Digital Marketing Manager will help strengthen our social and digital marketing campaigns and brand awareness among our key audiences.  As the e Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with internal and external business partners across strategy, execution, and measurement, from driving overall engagement to working with our creative team to develop compelling content, to optimizing and analyzing performance. Join our Marketing Team as a channel expert, helping to define campaign strategies and metrics, and building the content assets to get us there. One day you’re creating a video and the next you're managing paid social advertising on our channels and interacting with our online community. 

To be successful in this role, you:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in social media, digital marketing, marketing, communications, journalism or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Have minimum five (5) years of experience, including specific responsibilities for social media strategy, content development and managing paid and organic social and digital media channels
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing and sales operations supporting brand, driving growth, and increasing engagement with key social media platforms, their algorithms, unique audiences, and optimization
  • Have project management experience and the ability to strategize and develop campaigns in support of marketing and sales goals.
  • Have previous health care sector or regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Have an understanding and building social media KPIs and ability to interpret data and analytics.

Essential functions and Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and maintains overall social media content strategy and campaigns that support the company’s unique brand, marketing, sales and other organizational goals
  • Manages social media content across all platforms. Develops and maintains social media and digital content calendar. Uses social media management platform to schedule and track.
  • Manages content production and storytelling across social media paid and organic campaigns and other digital channels, as appropriate. Generates, edits and publishes creative content including text, images, videos, and infographics tailored to different social media and digital platforms. Also works with in-house creative team on brand and content.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assist in the development of digital and social marketing to support brand, acquisition and retention programs.
  • Creates and grows business presence and manages online community on social media channels. Works with partners and influencers, as well as internal staff, to create and amplify content. Interacts with online community and manages our responses across the organization.
  • Tracks and reports on performance metrics, analyzing engagement and performance data to enhance and optimize social channel effectiveness.  Aligns with Marketing staff on KPI and campaign goals for social channels
  • Manages social SEO. Monitors social media statistics, report trends; issues, and takes appropriate action
  • Performs as subject matter expert in social media, staying on top of the latest trends and uses of social media, bringing innovative and creative ideas to the organization. Recommends and oversees new channels.
  • Helps establish and refine effective processes for efficiency and successful implementation of social media messaging.
  • Uses project management tools to track and manage internal projects
  • Helps to develop, maintain, and enforce communication standards for the organization.
  • Participates in usability studies and user feedback groups and implements results.
  • Works collaboratively with Marketing and Sales teams, leveraging current and emerging social and digital channels to connect with audiences and achieve business objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in social media platform management, algorithms, specifications, and content categories.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and content creation for social media, including copy writing, video/graphics production and photo editing
  • In-depth knowledge of Google, Meta and other channel campaign software, media management systems such as Sprout, and digital channels such as blogs
  • Proficiency with social listening, and analytics tools
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks independently and collaboratively.
  • Presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in all main Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative suite especially MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills, including the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and in diverse roles in a respectful and courteous manner at all times.

As part of our hiring process, the following criteria must be met:

Compensation and Benefits:

The position is FLSA Exempt and is eligible for overtime and has a 10% annual incentive target based on company, department, and individual performance goals. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

  • Extended periods of sitting, computer use, talking and possibly standing.
  • Simple grasp, firm grasp, fine manipulation, pinch, finger dexterity, supination/pronation, wrist flexion.
  • Frequent torso/back static position; occasional stooping, bending, and twisting.
  • Some kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying (not over 25 pounds), twisting, and reaching.

Mental:

  • Must be able to manage conflict, communicate effectively and meet time-sensitive deadlines.

Work Environment:

Office environment Employees who frequently work in front of computer monitors are at risk for environmental exposure to low-grade radiation.
