EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-time, 20 hrs/wk
SCHEDULED HOURS: Flexible, afternoon and some weekend recruitment events

Functional Family Therapy- Foster Care (FFT-FC) is an evidence-based in-home clinical intervention with a relational focus on the family unit for DCF-involved children. In addition to clinical treatment, FFT-FC also offers corresponding case management services with a Family Specialist. Birth Families and Foster Families are the primary unit of intervention. FFT-FC is built on the core FFT model; it is completed with the foster family and moves to your working with the birth family when the youth is preparing for reunification and after.
ABOUT THE POSITION: Recruitment Coordinator
Duties & Responsibilities
- Appropriately and professionally markets program and provides presentations to groups of individuals for recruitment purposes.
- Actively participates in the recruitment and retention committee, community fairs, and events.
- Completes home studies to determine potential family’s eligibility to become therapeutic foster parents. Assists families with completion of required licensing paperwork in a timely manner.
- Participates in matching meetings in which the placement of foster children in foster families is reviewed.
- Covers for other team members as needed.
- Takes initiative in interactions with clients and families to set an example of positive and appropriate relationships.
- Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
- Provides foster parent, program, and agency-wide trainings.
- Additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment or marketing, demonstrated ability to support foster parents. Ability to speak publicly and provide training. Experience in foster care preferred.
Training/Continued Competency: Continued skill development and maintain certifications
Additional Qualifications: Experience in Public Speaking and Recruitment is Preferred

COMPENSATION*:
$20.6586/hr min., and up commensurate upon experience.
*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
