EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Per-diem
SCHEDULED HOURS: On call after hours and weekends, rotating weeks. Some in-person response may be required

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Functional Family Therapy- Foster Care (FFT-FC)

Functional Family Therapy- Foster Care (FFT-FC) is an evidence-based in-home clinical intervention with a relational focus on the family unit for DCF-involved children. In addition to clinical treatment, FFT-FC also offers corresponding case management services with a Family Specialist. Birth Families and Foster Families are the primary unit of intervention. FFT-FC is built on the core FFT model; it is completed with the foster family and moves to your working with the birth family when the youth is preparing for reunification and after.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides crisis assessment and intervention to monitor status of clients in crisis.
- Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
- Determines appropriate treatment services for assigned clients to assist them in staying in the community and resuming occupational, educational and/or leisure activities.
- Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes
- Maintains collaborative relationships with family members and other service providers.
- Responsible for Maintaining Client and Staff Records According to Agency Policy
- Transports clients, when necessary, using agency vehicle and/or personal vehicle.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s Degree in mental health field
Experience: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist working with people with mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders. Demonstrated training and experience in all aspects of mental health treatment, assessment, evaluation, and provision of individual and family therapy. Relevant experience to program model to which individual is assigned.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Licensed as Clinical Psychologist in State of CT preferred. LMSW, LMFT-A or LPC-A required.

COMPENSATION*:
$150 per week, $200 for per week for holiday, or $250 per week for major holiday, plus $40.00/hr for face-to-face services
*Our per diem and fee for service positions offer a flat hourly rate.
