SHIFT SUPERVISOR
Qualifications/Experience: Minimum high school diploma with three to five years of experience in a group home or like setting, and/or a Bachelor's degree preferred, knowledge of brain injury and experience with community based transitional living program. Must demonstrate strong leadership qualities and ability to direct and assist staff in direct care and completion of paperwork.
Reports to: Senior Supervisor
Hours: Full time -40 hours per week
Job Summary: Supervises CSC's on their shifts, on-job training of newly employed CSC's, ensures clients’ needs are met, checks on team members and clients during the shift, ensures all necessary paperwork is completed, and completes safety checks routinely. Must direct and assist staff in direct care, writing reports, assists with maintaining the schedule. Works toward clients' individual goals under the philosophy that all interactions and activities are therapeutic and aimed at improving the clients' independence and overall quality of life.
Job Duties:
Any other duty as assigned by the Senior Supervisor.

Job Duties:
- Timeliness of CSC's on their respective shifts
- Coordinates and facilitates transportation.
- Coordinates activities during respective shift.
- Ensures paperwork is completed on each shift.
- Ensures safety checks are completed at scheduled times
- Trains newly employed CSC's in all areas.
- Complete CSC Performance Evaluations
- Provide clinical training and services in all identified areas and activities of daily life as specified by supervisor established guidelines.
- Monitoring and documentation of identified activities and behaviors in compliance with established guidelines and protocol.
- Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions.
- Demonstrate appropriate behavior, language and appearance in all interactions with clients, co-workers and the community at large.
- Must cooperate with and/or assist all representatives of State Licensing Agencies/Accreditation bodies, as needed, during inspections and surveys.
- Additional responsibilities, as assigned
Any other duty as assigned by the Senior Supervisor.
Working Conditions:
- Variable work schedules (days, evenings, and weekends)
- May work in treatment areas, residences or the community at large.
- Emergency and unscheduled responsibilities as delegated by Senior Supervisor or Program Director.
- Needs to maintain flexibility in all situations.
