The Social Services Director position is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, administering and evaluating the social services program for the residents of the Nursing Facility.
Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains policies and procedures for the Social Services Department based on review and interpretation of regulations.
Assures a Social Service program that is in full compliance with program standards of licensing agencies.
Practices supportive intervention, counseling with residents in reaching conflict resolution, also provides education to residents.
Be a productive member of the interdisciplinary team on all appropriate committees and attend all appropriate team meetings to provide
professional feedback and education as requested and/or needed.
Performs Additional Functions Or Duties As Assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field is required.
