Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting various insurance products. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to analyze clients' needs to recommend appropriate coverage options. This is a sales/service opportunity for a mature book of business with lots of in-house sales opportunities with existing clients. The Insurance Agent will engage in inside sales activities, including telemarketing and retail sales, to expand our client base and service existing customers insurance, billing and claims needs. Flexible work environment with hybrid remote work possible for the right candidate. Having existing Property/Casualty and or Life/Health licenses preferred, but we can assist with licensing for the right non-licensed candidate.
Full or part time positions available, salary negotiable based on experience, flexible hours with possibility of hybrid remote work.
Duties
- Build and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up.
- Provide expert advice on various insurance products, including life, health, auto, and property insurance.
- Engage in inside sales activities, including excellent existing client marketing opportunities
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to generate leads and schedule appointments with prospective clients.
- Analyze client information to recommend suitable insurance policies that meet their needs.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive client information.
- Manage sales administration tasks, including maintaining accurate records of client interactions and policy details.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall service delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in insurance sales/service or retail sales is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to clients.
- Experience in telemarketing is a plus.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed recommendations based on client needs.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is advantageous.
- Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances client interactions. Spanish speaking candidates a plus.
- Previous experience in insurance sales is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- A valid insurance license is required for permanent employment status. We can assist with state licensing requirements for the right candidate.
