This position requires you to have a valid drivers license and a valid MA Pesticide Applicator License. If you do not already have your MA Pesticide Applicators License, you must be willing to obtain one within 3 months of hire (the company will assist candidate with this process and have options for reimbursement)
As a turf and plant care technician, your duties include but aren't limited to:
- Evaluating the condition of lawn, plants, shrubs, trees etc. and treating them as needed
- Applying pesticides, herbicides, tick and mosquito spray and fertilizers
- Tree spray and fertilizer
- Aeration and overseeding
- Lawn rejuvenation
- Slice seeding
- Assisting with other seasonal landscape operations as needed between busy seasons
- Assisting with snow plowing and other snow services during the winter months
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidates must be able eligible for this position must
- be able to lift 50lbs. on a regular basis
- be willing to work in inclement weather
- have the ability to work independently with good time management skills
- be willing and able to communicate effectively with customers and team
- have a team oriented focus
- have a valid drivers license
- have or be willing to obtain your MA Pesticide Applicator License within 3 months of hire
Compensation determined by experience.
