Job description
Chris Woods Construction Co., Inc. is one of the fastest growing full-service commercial general contractors in the greater Memphis area. Since 1985, we have been providing our clients with pre-construction, design-build, construction management, consultation, value engineering and general contracting services. We perform work in a variety of industries from commercial and industrial to medical, educational and multi-family.
Position Summary
Candidates should have thorough knowledge of commercial construction project management, including buyout, writing contracts and purchase orders, preparing and updating schedules, coordinating the work with the superintendent, running owner meetings and subcontractor meetings, and handling the day to day administration of the project including document management, handling RFI’s, and pricing changes. The candidate should have a good understanding of construction management and scheduling software packages, such as Procore and Microsoft Project. A construction related degree is a plus but not a requirement.
