Great Opportunity to bring your engineering career to our hotel where you can make a difference in our guest experience daily. Our hotel will provide you the venue to utilize all your expertise in property engineering, hands on repairs, and preventative maintenance. 

Job Specific

• Reports to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, in accordance with the company’s personal appearance standards
• Visually inspect rooms and public areas to ensure that work orders are properly completed according to standards.
• Perform routine maintenance throughout the property, to include painting, carpet/floor cleaning, etc.
• Perform minor adjustments on HVAC systems, including the repair and/or replacement of air conditioning units.
• Perform minor repairs and/or replacements of room furniture, fixtures, and equipment to include television sets, light fixtures, etc.
• Clean and maintain the hotel’s exterior areas, to include the swimming pool, parking lot, and all other aspects pertaining to the hotel’s overall landscape and curb appeal.
• Protect Company assets by properly securing tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Report requests for major repairs to the General Manager in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Assist the Engineering Manager in determining capital requests, managing existing contracts, and soliciting new proposals as needed for capital projects.
• Provide a safe environment for our guests and the hotel staff by meeting all safety standards
• Provide professional courteous service to our guests and be accommodating to various requests
• Be a team player and assist in other departments when help is needed
• Must be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and aware of all Job Safety Analysis guides

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
