Next Generation Kid’s Ministry Mission:
"To partner with families to form a lasting faith by helping their kids – BELONG to a body of believers so they know they are loved by God, BELIEVE the gospel and place their faith in Jesus, and BECOME a disciple of Jesus by applying the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Role’s Mission:
The Kids Care Director partners with the Central Kids Care Director to be the Assistant Developer to lead an effective team of paid staff and to be the Lead Implementor to execute the Next Generation Kids Care program with excellence.
As the Assistant Developer, responsibilities include:
- Work with the Central Kids Care Director in recruiting, hiring, and training staff for the Fort Worth campus
- Lead and shepherd the Kids Care team at the Fort Worth campus
As the Lead Implementor, responsibilities include:
- Run the weekly Next Generation Kids Care Fort Worth program with excellence
- Prepare and implement curriculum for all age groups during all CCBC events at the Fort Worth campus
- Ensure all staff follow the safety-committee-approved Children’s Policy and Procedures Manual
- Implement a fun program where all staff and kids know they BELONG and are loved by God
- Collaborate with all multisite Kids Care Directors and the Central Kids Care Director to share new ideas for the program regarding curriculum, schedules, music, and teaching techniques, and to maintain consistency between campuses.
Christ Chapel’s Mission:

Role’s Reporting Relationship:
The Kids Care Director reports to the Central Kids Care Director.
Qualifications
Role’s Requirements:
Character-
- Must be a maturing believer who is obviously, consistently, and increasingly manifesting the fruit of the Spirit in her daily walk with Christ (Galatians 5:22-23) as well as among others
- Must be living an “above reproach” lifestyle as outlined in the Christ Chapel Employee Handbook
- Must be a faithful steward of work and time, with awareness that Christ Chapel employees are paid from the tithes and offerings of others
Calling-
- Must be committed to and supportive of the authority of the Elders, the pastoral staff, and the philosophy and direction of the church both in public and in private
- Must be able to articulate a specific and clear calling to ministry with children.
Competency-
- The ideal candidate has the spiritual gifts of leading with zeal and administration. (Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12)
Chemistry-
- Must be trustworthy, dependable, humble, and approachable
- Must work well within a team environment
- Must have an optimistic, positive, and cheerful demeanor
- Must be able to receive direction and correction - a joy to supervise
- Must be flexible and adaptable
Role’s Preferences:
The ideal candidate would:
- Be actively involved in Christ Chapel and have a positive track record over at least three years supervising others
- Have a reputation for being relatable to various people and personalities, both adults and children
- Have some college
- Have some experience with Microsoft Office
