Church Custodian

We are seeking a versatile individual with a can-do attitude to perform janitorial, custodial, and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include:

• Trash and recycling removal, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas.
• Minor repairs, and maintaining cleanliness in mechanical rooms.
• Set up and tear down for events, furniture moving, and emergency response.
• Monitor safety and security on-site, locking/unlocking buildings.
• Detail cleaning of common areas, including dusting, wall washing, and floor care (buffing, waxing).

Requirements:

• Physical strength for lifting, and cleaning tasks.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and operate cleaning tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff, parishioners, and tenants.
• Independent worker with good decision-making skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
