What are the responsibilities and job description for the Soprano Soloist/Section Leader position at Christ Church Cathedral?
Christ Church Cathedral in Hartford, CT seeks a soprano soloist/section leader to sing in the Cathedral Choir during Wednesday evening rehearsals, and Sunday morning services (9:00am call for a 10:00am service.) We seek someone with excellent sight-singing and part-singing skills who can step into our small but friendly and growing choir.
Our immediate need is for someone to cover a maternity leave beginning soon after the new year. There may be an option to continue on permanently as well.
The Cathedral pays $85 per appearance, and there are many opportunities for additional special services and cantoring. Please apply to directorofmusic@cccathedral.org.
