Graphic Design Associate
Position Description
Date: October 2024 FLSA Category: Part time Function: Staff
PURPOSE
The Graphic Design Associate will use their gifts, skills and abilities to tell God’s story in a creative and compelling way. They will assist with the creation and production of engaging visual content, both print and digital, to support the ministries of Christ Church.
This position is a combination of in person and remote.
POSITION FOCUS
Communications (Ministry Services)
SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS
- The Communications Manager is the primary supervisor. The Art Director will serve as a secondary supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with the Executive Director of Worship Arts & Communication, Communications Team members and ministry partners.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create high-quality visual content
- Develop and design graphics for print and digital media, including multi-page booklets and brochures, promo cards, advertising, banners, weekly e-coms, social media, website assets and other marketing materials
- Create press-ready production art for in-house and commercial printing
- Ensure brand consistency—maintain a consistent visual style across all platforms and ensure designs align with Christ Church’s identity and goals
- Meet deadlines for weekly worship materials
- Update and maintain current content as needed
- Organize and maintain digital/graphic files and assets
- Assist in the management of ministry projects
SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT
- Support and model individual spiritual formation i.e. Worship, Grow and Serve (weekly worship, prayer, Scripture reading, small group, volunteering/service, etc.)

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in graphic design or related field
- 5 years proven experience in graphic design or marketing preferred
- 5 years practical experience in Adobe Creative Suite | InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
Salary : $25 - $31
