Summary Of Position:
This intern shall assist in the leadership alongside the Finance and Data Services professional staff, being witnesses of the life-changing love of Jesus Christ; making communities of disciples who worship, grow and serve. This position requires interns to be flexible, financially and administratively-minded, organized, and have great interpersonal skills. Furthermore, interns need to be able to work well on a team of people and to maintain a high level of confidentiality with that information that is obtained during the internship.
Qualifications:
Full employment will generally begin on May 31, 2025 and will conclude early to mid-August, unless
other arrangements are made. A typical workweek is Monday to Friday, no more than 40 hours per week. If there are conflicts in your summer schedule, please inform us of specific dates when you apply. A calendar covenant will be agreed upon by intern and supervisor at the time of employment.
Compensation:
Each intern will receive a stipend of $600 per week for the summer, pro-rated for the length of the internship.
Supervisory Relationships:
This intern reports to their assigned administrative professional staff.
Housing/ Transportation:
Applicant is responsible for finding and securing their own housing and transportation for the summer.

- Be a follower of Jesus Christ
- Be a believer in the ministry of the local church
- Candidate should be pursuing a college course of study or career path related to the area of interest. (HR, Finance, etc.)
- Be willing to dedicate the agreed upon weeks of the summer to the internship

- Provide support to Finance staff and gain an understanding of the various monthly processes of accounts payable, credit cards, payroll, and month end reconciliation and close
- Work with Finance staff in assembling reports for the Finance and Investment Committee meetings
- Utilizing excel skills, roll-forward the 2025 budget file and improve the efficiency of the creation of various Excel based reports
- Gain an understanding of the audit review process and the audited financial statements
- Assist the Finance staff on other tasks and projects
- Assist with data integrity projects
- Work to build custom queries to support all staff
