ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide administrative support for the Pastor of Family Ministries
- Partner with the Pastor of Family Ministries to help execute programs and outreaches supporting kids and their families.
- Project-manage large scale family outreach events
- Partner with wider church ministries to welcome new families
- Help manage Christ Church’s Baptism process
- Partner with the Pastor of Family Ministries to support the family ministries programs at Christ Church
Ministry Overview
- Provides administrative support for the pastor of Family ministries including tracking registrations, Baptisms, email and scheduling support, volunteer tracking, and database administration when needed.
- Work with the Pastor of Family Ministries to implement parent equipping workshops
- Partner with the Children’s Ministry and Student Ministry assistants to provide administrative support for family ministry events, parent workshops, and disability ministry
- Work with the Pastor of Family Ministries to explore future family retreats and trips
- Partner with the broader family ministry team to equip parents to engage in meaningful faith development in the home
- Project-manage all large scale family ministry events at our Oak Brook Campus; including Easter Egg Hunt, “O What Fun” Christmas Party, and Back to School Bash.
- Coordinate with new families to help them find a home at Christ church, working in partnership with the first impressions ministry
- Partner with operations, adult discipleship, first impressions, and worship to execute Christ Church’s baptism process
- Attend all weekly, monthly, and event planning team meetings.
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
- Support and model individual spiritual formation i.e. Worship, Grow and Serve. (Weekly worship, prayer, scripture reading, small group, volunteering/service, etc.).
