Position Overview The Director of AVL is a full-time, on-site role that reports directly to the Worship Pastor. As the Director of AVL, you will oversee and lead the Audio, Visual, and Lighting (AVL) ministry, working in harmony with the Worship Pastor, worship teams, and dedicated volunteers at all CCC locations, current and future. Your role will directly contribute to carrying out the mission and core values of CCC through innovative and engaging AVL solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekend Worship Services: Provide top-notch AVL tech support, including set-up, stage arrangement, lighting transitions, sound checks, and media presentations.
- Livestream Excellence: Maintain livestream quality, oversee technical aspects, and ensure captivating worship experiences for online audiences.
- Ministry & Event Support: Offer AVL expertise for all ministries and events, such as RDCL (youth ministry), Momentum, Community Kids, and special services like worship nights.
- Training Volunteers: Inspire and train volunteers to use AVL technology creatively and missionally, fostering a team spirit that reflects the heart of CCC.
- Innovation & Maintenance: Develop lighting scenes, troubleshoot sound equipment, maintain media tools, and ensure professional video production standards.
Qualifications We're looking for an enthusiastic individual with:
- 2-5 years of AVL technician experience and working knowledge of AVL technologies specific to worship.
- A degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A teachable heart, with a desire to grow spiritually, personally, and professionally.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
- A thorough, detail-oriented approach combined with flexibility and adaptability.
- A passion for training and empowering volunteers.
