POSITION SUMMARY
The Staff Accountant is responsible for Christ Community Health Services accounting, banking entries, reconciliations and other various general ledger duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares all payroll related journal entries and financial reports including PTO and payroll accruals along with maintaining all payroll related files.
- Audits payroll deductions.
- Creates a daily cash report utilizing outstanding check list, A / P Aging, and General Ledger.
- Records daily bank transaction journal entries and / or reconciles account on a daily basis.
- Reconciles Daily Cash Activity of the clinics and reconciles the clearing account.
- Reconciles prepaid expenses and other current asset accounts
- Record and Reconcile, including invoicing, of Accounts Receivable
- Assists in closing various revenue systems each month on a rotating schedule and creating the necessary entries to record revenue.
- Assist in preparation of audit schedules and analysis of accounts for yearly audit and UDS report.
- Performs other duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education : Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Experience : 1-2 years’ experience in accounting, payroll processing, balancing bank statements, and general ledger.
Licenses or Certifications : N / A
