Position Overview:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the senior leader of Christ House, responsible for setting the strategic vision, overseeing operations, and ensuring the financial sustainability of the medical respite facility and long-term medical respite/permanent supportive housing program. The CEO will lead Christ House in achieving its mission, fostering partnerships, securing funding, and ensuring high-quality care and services. This role requires a leader with experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those facing homelessness and complex medical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute Christ House's long-term strategic vision, ensuring alignment with the mission and community needs.
Operational Oversight: Oversee daily clinical and non-clinical operations in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO), ensuring high-quality service delivery, efficiency, and adherence to best practices in medical respite care.
Financial Management: Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Board of Directors to maintain financial stability, oversee budgeting, and ensure sustainable funding strategies.
Fundraising & Development: Lead fundraising efforts, donor relations, and grant opportunities to secure resources for the organization's programs and services.
Board & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors, ensuring transparency, collaboration, and strong governance.
Community & External Relations: Represent Christ House in the community, building strategic partnerships with government agencies, healthcare providers, donors, and other stakeholders.
Policy & Advocacy: Advocate for policies that support medical respite care and homelessness services at local, state, and national levels.
Talent & Culture Management: Foster a strong organizational culture, recruit and retain top talent, and ensure staff development and well-being.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree required. A graduate degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management, healthcare, or social services with at least 10 years of total professional experience.
- Experience in fundraising, strategic planning, and organizational development.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing an organizational budget.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other administrative tools necessary for effective organizational management and communication.
- Demonstrated commitment to advocating for vulnerable populations and supporting an organization mission dedicated to serving those in need, including experience empowering staff and fostering a culture of compassion and service.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
