Description
POSITION PURPOSE : Educate and engage preschool age children in the classroom.
DIRECT REPORT : Head of Preschool

Planning and Organization :
Has an understanding of child development and age appropriate standardsCooperates with all in-school systems of organization (i.e. lesson plan formats, monthly calendars, communication to parents etc.)Is punctual and reliable with paperwork, duties, and assignments - keeps accurate recordsAttends all required meetings (faculty, CPA in-services, etc.), as required by the Preschool DirectorClassroom Management

Experience :
Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field requiredAt least three years of working with preschool-aged childrenAn understanding of appropriate teaching practices with preschoolersSkills and Abilities
Works independently with little direct supervisionWorks effectively as part of a teamAccepts responsibility and is self-motivatedDemonstrates strong work ethicDisplays effective multi-tasking and time management skillsRequirements
