The focus of the Guest Services Pastor is to help create and lead the overall guest experience on the campus for all ministry events and experiences. As the Guest Services Pastor, you will be responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing, volunteer recruitment and development takes place within the ministry.

Essential Job Functions
Guest Services
- Effectively communicate, recruit & develop the Guest Services Teams & leader
- Recruit one coach / lead for any volunteer team larger than 3 and less than 12
- Oversee leaders & assist them to reach their full potential in their areas including :
Greeters
UshersNew to CCV Tables / Information TablesParking lotCommunion PrepMeet with direct line to go over goals and initiatives regularly for G.S. ministry.Model a positive, authentic and caring behavior and communicate the vision of CCVCoordinate with the team leaders to ensure adequate staffing to the ministry areas and established baselinesFollow up with all contacts / prospective leaders by phone to plug them into serving in the G.S. ministryMake personal contact with all new volunteers and communicate with the Service Leaders they will serve underEnsure the Evacuation Plan is in place within the worship serviceInput weekly attendance from all servicesEnsure volunteers have the necessary supplies for their shiftTrack ministry goals & objectives for the yearTrack ministry volunteer engagement and encourage Next Steps for all team membersKnow the create the plus model; encourage others and demonstrate on all serve teams.Pastoral Care
Provide Pastoral care to the people as needed. This includes, but is not limited to weddings, funerals, baptisms, hospital / hospice calls, and baby dedicationsLeverage the ministry resources to support members of your area of ministryWhile most of the time you will be caring primarily for the people in your area of responsibility, it is understood that Pastoral Care is to be a team effort and therefore you may be asked to help people in other areas as neededCommunity Relations
Develop relationships with key members and organizations within your region (school, leaders, business leaders, city officials, etc.)Encourage relationship between CCV Volunteers and community leadersEncourage members of your team to move through our Next StepsWork with Associate Pastor to help identify potential Neighborhood Group leaders and potential group participantsQualifications
