Job Description
- Meet with clients to develop ongoing relationships.
- Program clients' needs and design criteria
- Coordinate with other Project Managers and direct/support junior staff.
- Provide support to the Architect of Record and assist other office staff as needed.
- Construction production drafting.
- Provide Construction Administration
- Attend site visits
- Review shop drawings
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Architectural Project Manager of an Architectural firm or similar.
- Ability to understand and take a complete project from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Capable and willing to learn "office-specific" drafting protocols and standards.
- Experience working on commercial building projects.
- AutoCAD Architecture proficient in production drafting and willing to take a CAD test for employment.
- Knowledge of PlanGrid, Revit, Word, Excel and Sketchup helpful.
- Proficient with generating construction documents.
- Proficient with reviewing and processing construction submittals.
- Experience meeting with / presenting to clients.
- Knowledge and understanding of building codes.
- Able to navigate city websites to understand city submittal processes from Site Planning to Building permit approval.
- Ability to manage outside consultants for work, proposals, invoices, and review of consultants' work.
