Company Description
The primary role is to lead the Jr. High Coaches in the Peoria Jr. High Ministry. Meet with them throughout the year to challenge them in their faith and develop them as coaches. Be a recruiter of adult/student Coaches. Be a developer of Student Coaches.
The secondary role will be to challenge, equip, and care for Jr. High Students. This will be done by communicating on a consistent basis to students, parents, managing events such as Super Saturday weekends, taking a large leadership role in Jr. High Summer Camp, and working with the Jr. High Peoria team to reach more students to be Christ-Centered Difference Makers.

- Carry out the vision of CCV Student Ministry
- Partner with the PEO Students team to execute ministry together
- Provide feedback for the JH School experience in Peoria
- Building set-up (Clean, Clear, Comfortable)
- Lead Coach meetings
- Guest Services oversight
- Onboard new Volunteers with excellence
- Participate in JH School event planning and camp execution
- Open to growing as an on-stage communicator
- Leadership of Volunteers Serving in Junior School
- Recruit, train, and retain lead coaches
- Recruit, train, and retain student coaches
- Build camaraderie between a group of coaches
- Pastoral Expectations
- Pastor JH school students and Coaches
- Follow up with first-time students and utilize coaches to close the gap from first time visitor to regular attender
- Mentor influential Junior School students to become Christ-Centered Difference Makers
- Partner with parents to help with concerns and student issues
- Build relationships with local JH Schools and organizations such as FCA and CCV Stars to broaden the reach of the Peoria JH School Ministry
- Create opportunities for our students, coaches, and parents to serve the schools and neighborhoods in our community
- Recruit, train, and release teams to impact schools and neighborhoods
- Be involved in Student Mission Trips – Planning, organizing, and attending.

Education and Experience
A degree, training in a related field, or ministry proven experience preferred
Experience working with youth and volunteers preferred
Working knowledge of the business of the church and procedures is helpful
Skilled in using a database for volunteer information, recruiting, and attendance is a plus (i.e. Rock)
