Role Overview & Scope
Under the Outreach Director, the Outreach Coordinator will be key in mobilizing volunteers, managing projects, and overseeing key initiatives within a small, dynamic team. This role demands strong project management, online skills, and administrative aptitude, alongside effective interpersonal communication. The ideal candidate will be creative, adaptable, and resilient, with a deep commitment to outreach and servant leadership. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential. This role also requires embracing and supporting the mission and vision of Christ’s Church.
Responsibilities & Tasks
People
- Support the staff of the Outreach Team by maintaining all systems and processes
- Receive and direct inquiries appropriately
- Support and maintain best practices for engaging and leading Outreach volunteers
- Build teams and systems to support local outreach partnerships
- Work closely with Engagement Team to ensure opportunities to serve in outreach are clearly identified and accessible
- Work closely with communication teams to insure best practices in promotion, mobilization, and engagement
Process
- Volunteer Mobilization: Recruit, train, and disciple volunteers to support outreach initiatives.
- Team Support: Coordinate logistics for events and daily operations, including meetings, registration, volunteer tracking, and supplies. Provide timely and accurate reports, manage calendar and meeting coordination, reserve facilities, oversee set-up, and maintain the office environment.
- Project Management: Lead and manage key outreach projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with our mission.
- Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with volunteers, community members, and other stakeholders.
- Marketing and Communications: Identifying and implementing best practices to engage the CC Community and beyond in the mission of the work.
- Adaptability: Apply creativity and flexibility to address and overcome challenges in a pioneering and adaptive environment

- Proficient in project management and adaptable to various third-party software applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse individuals effectively.

- Competent in utilizing essential tools, including ROCK for team ministry tasks, communications, event management, and demographic maintenance.
- Skilled in Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
- Adheres to volunteer assimilation best practices and guidelines.
- Manages Outreach web content and updates as needed.
- Completes required dashboard reporting on time.
