What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Aide/Med Tech position at Christ the King Manor?
As a Personal Care Aide Certified Med Tech at Christ the King Personal Care, youll get to work with the most amazing folks on the planet our residents! You will provide resident care that helps foster independence & confidence throughout their golden years.
Your Responsibilities as a PCA on our team:
- Provide exceptional Personal service and daily care to residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff management and families.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
- Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Answers call lights in a timely manner and responds accordingly to the residents needs.
- Assists in maintaining acceptable nutrition for residents and documents meal intake.
- Knows proper technique for first aid.
- Completes documentation of medication reminder.
- Assists in maintaining a therapeutic environment for the residents.
- Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities.
- Assists residents to and from activities.
- Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
About You: You have great customer service skills, and are flexible, compassionate, and dependable. Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus, but all nurses are encouraged to apply!
Qualifications:
- Prior caregiving experience, desired. However, willing to train candidate
- Opportunity for career advancement to become Certified Medication Tech

- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass pre-hire requirements including: Criminal background check, drug screen
- Previous work experience with older adults preferred but NOT NESSARY. CTKM OFFERS PAID ON THE JOB TRAINING.
