Christ the King Catholic School is seeking a nurturing and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our vibrant, faith-driven learning community. This full-time position focuses on fostering the early development of children, laying the foundation for future academic success, and nurturing their spiritual growth in alignment with our Catholic mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Early Literacy Instruction: Introduce foundational literacy skills, including letter recognition, phonemic awareness, vocabulary development, and a love of reading through engaging and age-appropriate activities. Science of Reading focus preferred. 

• Faith Integration: Create a classroom environment that reflects Catholic values and teachings, fostering students’ spiritual growth through prayer, Bible stories, and discussions about God’s love.

• Holistic Development: Support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child, creating a nurturing space where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore.

• Play-Based Learning: Utilize hands-on learning experiences to develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and a love for learning.

• Lesson Planning & Differentiation: Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood standards, differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

• Collaboration & Communication: Build positive relationships with families through regular communication, progress updates, and opportunities for parental involvement.

• Classroom Environment: Maintain a well-organized, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages independence and curiosity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Early Childhood Teaching License preferred).

• Experience working with young children in an educational setting.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Ability to integrate faith-based values into daily lessons and interactions.
