Job Summary - Firm Administrator
We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic, detail-oriented Office Manager to join our growing tax team! Our tax firm is seeking to hire an experienced Office Manager in an established but forward-looking CPA firm. This individual should be focused and have a passion for adding value in serving the clients. Job Responsibilities:
- Phone reception duties, including screening of prospective clients and providing information about the firm. You will be a key first impression for all clients interested in our services.
- Administrative assistant duties supporting tax preparers, and other professionals, including managing calendars, mailing documents, and other routine needs.
- Managing firm billing, payment processing, and following up on outstanding receivables.
- General office management tasks such as monitoring office supplies, and other services.
- Assist with business development and marketing initiatives as well as overall client relations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Associate Degree (preferred)
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative. Prior CPA firm experience is also a plus.
- Computer skills and Microsoft Words and Excel.
- Independent, self-motivated, ability to keep on task without direct oversight.
- Excellent time management skills, and oral communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
