We are seeking a highly experienced individual to join our team as an agricultural biosecurity expert. This role will involve working under the direction of a company veterinarian to ensure animal health objectives are met in both production and non-production settings.

We are seeking a highly experienced individual to join our team as an agricultural biosecurity expert. This role will involve working under the direction of a company veterinarian to ensure animal health objectives are met in both production and non-production settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with veterinarians to collect and submit live viral vaccines, tissues from disease outbreaks, and flow-based diagnostics.
- Work closely with the Production Health Administrator to input, manage, and summarize data into multiple designated systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of manure, construction, site care, and other equipment as needed.
- Support biosecurity assessments and filtration testing as required.
- Facilitate scheduling for routine sampling required by pig movements when necessary.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical skills including post-mortem, ante-mortem sample collection, and knowledge of common clinical symptoms preferred.
- Livestock handling experience preferred.
- PQA Plus Certification preferred.
