We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team in the South Dakota region. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing priority repairs and maintenance in a timely and efficient manner, completing scheduled projects to timeline and quality standards of the company, and effectively working with production and other repair staff to maximize quality of work and productivity of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Priority Repairs: Execute priority repairs as assigned, ensuring timely completion and meeting quality standards.
- Technical Repair: Repair equipment specific to Christensen Farms and its producers, utilizing technical expertise and knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Non-priority Repair: Perform scheduled repairs to company quality and cost standards, providing excellent service and labor for farm groups.
- Other Projects: Provide labor or lead other projects, such as general carpentry, plumbing, and steel repair, and maintain and properly store equipment not in use.
Requirements:
- The worker must have the visual ability to perform mechanical or skilled tasks of a non-repetitive nature, such as carpenter, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc.
- This position requires operating a company vehicle or regular mileage reimbursement, contingent upon review of the candidate's motor vehicle record (MVR).
