Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Truck Feed Delivery Professional to join our team at Christensen Farms.
About Us:
Christensen Farms is one of the largest, family-owned pork producers in the United States. We operate throughout the Midwest with facilities in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, and South Dakota. Our company owns four feed mills, manages 145,000 sows on 44 farms, and oversees more than 350 nurseries and grow-finish sites.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of feed to the appropriate sites.
- Follow all highway regulations, including speed limits, yields, stops, no passing zones, etc.
- Drive at 5-10 mph below the posted speed limits in all towns.
- No jake braking in town.
- Always drive with headlights on.
- Always wear seatbelts.
- No riders/passengers unless it is a CFF employee and has been authorized.
- Be courteous on the road.
- Respect the producers' properties.
- Respect the equipment/trucks.
- Safe and courteous driving at all times.
- Participate in safety meetings.
- Respectful of Company & Contract Partners Property.
- Be alert, attentive, and fit for operation of equipment, loading and unloading of equipment, and working within and around company and customer facilities.
- Conduct yourself with honesty and integrity at all times.
- Assist in other areas of the mill if needed/requested.
- Repair minor damages to the feed bins.
- Keep accurate, easy-to-read records.
