In turn, Triumph Foods members own 50 percent of Daily's Premium Meats, a specialty pork processor of bacon and other premium pork products. Triumph Foods also holds a 50 percent partnership in Seaboard Triumph Foods, LLC of Sioux City, Iowa, a primary pork processing plant.
Position Overview:
The Production Data Specialist is responsible for collecting, validating, and managing farm production data to ensure accuracy and seamless system integration. This role supports the transition from legacy data collection applications to a new herd management system, contributing to design, implementation, training, and troubleshooting. It also involves reconciling system data, coordinating data integration, and occasionally traveling to farms for hands-on training and support.
By maintaining data integrity and optimizing reporting processes, this position plays a key role in strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and investment planning. Success is measured by precise, high-volume data processing, adherence to best practices, and a collaborative, customer-focused approach while supporting production teams and stakeholders.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Data Stewardship & System Integration
- Collect, validate, and enter farm production data into the appropriate systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile system-generated reports and production records
- Assist in the transition from legacy systems to the new herd management platform
- Support system testing, user training, and adoption during implementation
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures for data management
Reporting & Process Optimization
- Generate and distribute production reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
- Develop subject matter expertise in production data processes and systems
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
- Ensure compliance with company standards and data governance best practices
Training & Support
- Assist in training farm and marketing team members on data entry, reporting, and system use as needed
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users
- Serve as a resource for production teams and other data users, responding to inquiries and resolving data-related issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data collection and reporting efficiency
Collaboration & Communication
- Engage with farm managers, service teams, and production staff to ensure data consistency
- Actively participate in meetings, providing insights and recommendations
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, escalating issues when necessary
- Represent the data records team in decision-making discussions and support organizational initiatives

Education, Training and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma required; associate's degree in business, data management, or a related field preferred or 5 years of applicable experience
- Experience in data management, including collection, validation, and reporting
- Exposure to farm production data systems is a plus (e.g., SL(MS), PigChamp, or similar software)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong data entry and ten-key skills with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to analyze reports and identify discrepancies
- Experience with reporting tools and database management preferred
Specialized or Motorized Equipment and/or Tools:
This position may require travel and occasionally operating a company vehicle, in which any employment offer will be contingent upon the review of the candidate's motor vehicle record (MVR). The MVR will be reviewed to determine insurability based on CFF's insurance carrier and company policy.
