Position: Temporary Summer Technology Assistant (Part-Time)
Up to 20 - 24 hours/week for 10 weeks
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday - 8:30-3:30/4:00
JOB DESCRIPTION
Scope
The Summer Technology Assistant completes routine summer maintenance and assists with large scale
projects. This includes cleaning, moving, and upgrading computers; collecting and servicing mobile
devices; assisting the technology team with other duties as assigned. This position will require travel as
needed to all four campus locations within the school system. In addition, this position will require a
flexible schedule with the possibility of working some nights and weekends.
Qualifications
The candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect:
- A strong and clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spirit.
- A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school.
- A commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Christian Academy School System Statement of Faith.
The ideal candidate shall possess:
- Basic technical knowledge of desktop/laptop components and operating systems
- Ability to clean/work with computers, Chromebooks, iPads, phones and projectors
- Ability to work in a team environment; be a team player
- Excellent organizational skills; high level of attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to find an answer when it is not immediately obvious
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends
- Ability to travel as needed to/from both ES and IN campuses
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Clean and repair computers, phones,and projectors for entire school system (ES, IN & SW)
- Clean all student Chromebooks for entire school system (ES, IN & SW)
- Assist the technology team with large scale projects
- All other duties as assigned
Outcomes
- Timely, accurate completion of all duties assigned
- Accurate documentation with regard to equipment and inventory
- Positive collaboration with team to provide efficient optimum operating levels
Reporting Relationship
This position will be responsible to the Technology Service Manager.
