Description:
The Maintenance Technician Assistant position is a temporary / part time position for the summer months at CAK. This is an entry level position that will allow the future hire to gain hands-on, real-world experience in the facility maintenance area. This position will have different duties over the course of the summer. Employee must be flexible and willing to learn.
Duties will include:
- Painting
- Cleaning
- Moving furniture
- Heavy lifting
- Using hand tools
- Utilizing power tools in a safe manner
- Light electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Perform routine maintenance
- Perform quality checks prior to start of school
- Maintain inventory records
Maintenance Technician Assistant Requirements:
- A follower of Christ, active in his or her church, and able to communicate their Christian story.
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must be physically capable safely lift approximately 50 lbs. or more at times
- Effective problem-solving abilities along and possess critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be well organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks
