Christian Academy of Knoxville seeks a dedicated and experienced Stage Crew Manager for our High School Musical Theatre productions. The ideal candidate will oversee all stage crew operations, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of our theatrical performances. Proven experience in stage management, preferably in a high school or educational setting, strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a team. The Stage Crew Manager should have excellent technical knowledge of stagecraft, including lighting, sound, and set construction, committed to creating a positive and safe learning environment for students.
Requirements:- Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of students, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles in set design, lighting, sound, and stage management.
- Technical Coordination: Collaborate with the director, choreographer, and artistic team to understand each production's technical requirements and ensure all technical aspects are executed flawlessly.
- Safety Oversight: Maintain a safe and organized backstage environment, conduct regular safety checks, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Rehearsals and Performances: Attend auditions, rehearsals, and production meetings to provide technical support and ensure smooth transitions during performances.
- Problem-Solving: Address any technical issues that arise during rehearsals and performances, providing quick and effective solutions.
The Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) teacher must be a spiritually sensitive individual who understands the school's mission and philosophy. The teacher must be a born-again Christian with spiritual maturity and the academic and leadership abilities necessary to teach God’s truth. Skills in effective communication with diverse individuals, appropriate handling of confidential information, and maintaining a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude and integrity in all situations are prerequisites.
