PAY RATE: $20.51 Hourly (Pay is negotiable based on experience)

Summary:
Develops and fosters relationships with community agencies. Assists with recruiting and training volunteers (short-term, one year, and community volunteers). Serves as liaison with CAP Philanthropy and Communications to promote Hunger Walk and Hunger Awareness. Assists the Manager in the daily operations of the Jackson County Food Pantry.
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinates day to day operations of the Jackson County Food Pantry, including daily assignments, commodities distributions, maintaining wait list, and completing monthly paperwork such as statistics and Gift-in-Kind reports. Assists manager in training new employees and volunteers. Serves as an assistant and provides technical support to the manager in daily functions/fiscal management.
- Assists with recruiting, training and leading volunteers (Community, short-term, and long-term. Individuals and groups.) Serves as liaison with CAP Philanthropy & Communications to promote Hunger Walk and Hunger Awareness.
- Assists in the fundraising and marketing of the Jackson County Food Pantry, especially to help promote special events like Hunger Walk.

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
18 Months Additional Training In Related Field Required
Years of Experience:
6 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience
Certifications and Licensure:
Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required
CAP Driving Certification* (or Ability to Obtain within first 90 days) Required
Obtain and Maintain Forklift Certification Required
*In order to drive personal vehicle on CAP business, must obtain and maintain a policy of motor vehicle insurance coverage on privately-owned vehicle with insurance coverage amounts of $50,000 bodily injury per person per accident; $100,000 bodily injury for all bodily injuries per accident; and $50,000 property damage per accident.

Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk
Lift 50 lb from floor to waist and carry 85 ft
Pull with 30 lb of force 78 ft
Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance
Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses
Have good hearing capabilities
