Description
PAY RATE: $18.28 Hourly (Pay is negotiable based on experience)
Works with a variety of local schools and community partners within the region to increase visibility for reaching more participants. Engage local youth by teaching & providing access to a variety of leadership focused programming. Assist manager and coordinator to integrate leadership initiatives across all camp programming.
Engages youth and teens in leadership-focused programming across all Youth Empowerment Services components and leads volunteers in accomplishing those tasks.
Assists manager and coordinator with all aspects of planning and implementation summer camp programming. Leads volunteers in accomplishing those tasks.
Assists with the Youth Empowerment Services in-school components when needed and actively promotes all YES components to educators, administrators, parents, and youth.
Qualifications
Associates In a Related Field Required
Bachelors In a Related Field Preferred
1 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience
Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required
CAP Driving Certification (or Ability to Obtain) Required
CPR/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens/AED (or ability to obtain) Required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk
Lift 50 lb from floor to waist
Carry 50 lb for 240 ft
Push with 30 lb of force 6 ft
Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance
Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses
Have good hearing capabilities
Ability to interact with youth and teens in games and sports activities
